I impulsively registered for a free half marathon yesterday.
And it was free, for everyone who saw the sign and paid for parking.
Obviously, I didn’t see the sign. And had a $40.00 parking ticket waiting for me after the race. 😦
But at least I got 13.2 miles in!!
I was trying to run at my pace for next week’s race and finished 4 minutes fast. I’ll have to slow it down if I want to finish within 30 seconds of my time for the Earth Day Half Marathon!
Pre-race fuel: Same as yesterday: 2 pieces of Ezekiel bread + 1 tbsp sunflower butter.
After my run I came home hannnnnnggggrraay. It was almost 11:00! I made some eggs and a best smoothie EVER!
I used mixed berries this time (blue, black, and rasp.) and only 1/2 scoop protein powder.
I wanna go take a nap. I forgot how drained I am after a long run!!
