Yikes Stripes

So I toTALLY overslept this morning. I woke up at 6:45. I set my alarm for 5:30. At the latest, I need to be up at 6:00. Oops!

I was only late to work by about 5 minutes. But my hair was a mess–wet messy bun style. Oh, well.

Breakfast was made in a jiffy: Smoothie to go!.

In the mix

  • Ice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 Yoplait Greek yogurt–honey
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds

This held me over until about 10:30…then it was a handful of almonds for a mid-morning snack! Sorry, no picture. I forgot!

Lunch was ordered in at work today. 🙂 One of law clerks picked up Chipolte for all of us! She rocks. 🙂

I got a chicken burrito bowl with salsa, black beans, fajita veggies, and lettuce

It was definitely more salad-y than burrito bowl-y. Ok by me! 🙂 I picked out all the red onions because I get horrible stomach cramps after I eat red onions. Sad, because I really like them! 😦

Afternoon snack: FlatOut with sunflower butter. Gotta gear up for my run tonight!

After class I am off to meet my friend Ben at the gym! I have high hopes of getting in at least a solid three miles. We’ll see. And I’m excited to try out my new shoes!
