As I mentioned last night, I had planned to run 15 k this morning. I also mentioned last night that my shins hurt a bit during my 5 miler.
Well, when I started to run today, they REALLY hurt. 😦 I think I’ve been doing too much treadmill running…
I put in 40 minutes on the treadmill before I called it quits. I then did 30 minutes (3 miles) on the elliptical.
I am going to take tomorrow off from running (maybe do a spin class? Erica’s class?) and ice today/tonight. I am going to attempt to run outside on Sunday…but we’ll see how I’m feeling slash what the weather is like.
I woke up pretty early and was hungry so I ate breakfast before my run. I did some work for about an hour or so before I went downstairs to hit up my building’s gym.
Breakfast: Oatmeal! It’s been a while since I’ve had this little number
In the mix
- 1/2 cup multi-grain oats
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- Toppings: 1/2 banana, blueberries, 1/2 tbsp mini choco chips, sunflower butter
The multi-grain oats were a new purchase! I picked it up at Trader Joe’s last night!
