Bring it.

Running clothes are on. Breakfast consumed and digested. Bring it, 9 miler.

In gearing up to run outside (it’s 20 degrees today) I was reminded of the St. Michael’s CC team’s running mantra. Side note: I worked with the SMHS CC team when I was in Louisiana and miss everyone connected to the team SO MUCH!

No excuses. Just results. That’s how we operate.

Pretty great running mantra, huh? 🙂

I woke up somewhat early and had breakfast.

POWER OATMEAL to get me through 9 miles of winter running.

In the mix

1/2 cup quick oats

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup skim milk

banana

frozen raspberries

1/2 tbsp mini choco chips

Sunflower butter (~1 tbsp)

Here I go! Have a great morning everyone! And Happy MLK Jr Day!

    Good luck with the 9 miler!!! woke up this morning SORE from doing it yesterday…but so glad that I felt decent during the actual run. Cant wait to be in above freezing weather though and running…

      Thanks, gurrrl. I’m jeal that you’re done with it already. 🙂 I cannot wait until warmer weather. Aka AUSTIN. We leave a month from TOMORROW!
