I did it! I made it to my first yoga class of 2011. 🙂
Anna, Rachael, and I met 20 minutes early for class…and we were lucky to get spots! Can you believe it? Thankfully Anna got there a bit earlier than Rach and me and took our mats into the room to hold our places.
The next hour or so was spent getting hot and sweaty. Class was SO tough! I had forgotten how challenging yoga sculpt is. I def had to modify a few of the poses and I used 3 lb and 5 lb weights. Certain exercises with the 3 lbs weights felt a million times harder than the exercises I do with 10 lb weights!
I got up about an hour and a half before I planned to leave so I had a little bfast before class.
Light English muffin + 1/2 cup egg beater omlet
I’m really glad I ate something substantial before class because I didn’t get home until after 11:00! Anna, Rachael, and I went to Pottery Barn and Hot Mama after class.
Post-yoga I made another smoothie in a bowl. I wanted something cool and refreshing because class was SO hot.
In the mix
1 vanilla Chobani yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup milk
Topped with Kashi Go Lean!, Fiber One, granola, flax cereal
In other news…
In an effort to put off school work my friend McKinzie and I are going to see Black Swan this afternoon! I’ve heard mixed reviews but I am still REALLY excited to see it.
