No time to sit and think about family law (writing up until the last minute! I thought it was a challenging test)…because it’s on to Professional Responsibility! I stopped home for a quick lunch and to let out Darby. Then it’s beck to school to get ethical with Ben and Eric.
Nate’s class this morning was AWESOME. It was just what I needed…a great way to de-stress before a final exam. We braved the cold for a short while and jogged over to the underground and HEATED parking garage.
Lots of sprints, horsepulls, and laps followed. Nate also switched it up with some ladder runs (forwards for two parking lines, backwards for one) and killers (sprint one line, back one line, sprint two lines, back two lines, etc).
And once again, I’m incredibly sore from this workout! I don’t know what it is about working out in the heat…maybe the drastic temperature change when we go back outside?
Pre-run we did lots of ab stuff with the medicine ball and lots of hamstring exercises. That could also be why I’m so sore. 😉
Power breakfast: Open faced egg sammie with turkey bacon
In the mix
1 egg + two egg whites (and I’m officially out of eggs)
Handful of spinach, torn up
2 slices turkey bacon
1 slice whole wheat toast
3 hours of family law later. Lunchtime!
Reheated chili + flatout pieces
I cut up a FlatOut and grilled it with a drizzle of olive oil. Tasted delicious mixed in with my chili!
Back to school I go. Have a great afternoon!
