Running outside in the winter is awesome

So, I take back the fact that I hate winter. However, I still hate wearing socks.

Kerry and I had a SWEET run outside today. Great convo, felt great, and we both weren’t that cold! I mean, it wasn’t January weather or anything…but for late November, I’m not going to complain.

Oh! The new Rascal Flatts album came out today! Obvi I dl-ed it immediately from iTunes…and am listening as I blog. So far it’s a bit slower than their last album..but I like. πŸ™‚

Great start to my Tuesday!

I have a pretty packed morning…one more argument practice sesh and then work. So a hearty breakfast was a must since I have no idea when I’ll be home to eat lunch!

Raspberry pancakes + eggs

I used too much water so my pancake batter was SUPER runny–made for more crepe-like pancakes. Still good though! And I used lots of raspberries. πŸ™‚ I ran out of Egg Beaters so I just used 1 egg + 1 egg white. And added some grilled peppers and onions in there. Great decision.

Topped with sugar-free syrup and a few sprays of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!

Look at that raspberry! Sooooooo good. πŸ™‚

In other news…

So I ran in my new running tights today! I was a bit nervous because when I tried them on last week they sat a lot lower than I usually like. However, THEY ARE AWESOME. I didn’t even notice that they were lower than my other running pants and I didn’t have to pull them up ONCE! They stayed right in place. My other tights are cheap and I have to pull them up all the time…super annoying. My new tights are way thicker and warmer…I am sold. They also have some sweet reflective piping on the zipper at the bottom of the pant legs. I def recommend these. πŸ™‚

Later!

  1. I’m so impressed that you’re able to run with other people. I always run alone because I can’t handle talking and running at the same time. My breathing gets messed up and then I start cramping. I admire people who can carry on conversations during a run!
