Great invention or greatest invention?

The Keurig!

I bought this a few months ago per the recommendation of my friends Kerry and Becca…and I am forever indebted to them…this thing is the greatest invention of ALL TIME! (And yes, I have the authority to make that statement).

I have saved so much $$$ using the Keurig and forgoing Starbucks. If you don’t have one I suggest getting one! You can get them at Bed Bath and Beyond. It’s an investment but worth it!

This morning I lifted and so I knew I needed to eat a protein rich breakfast. Since I still haven’t had a chance to go to the grocery store I took yesterday’s snack of an apple and almond butter and added a delicious Ezekiel english muffin to the mix!

This guys are super hearty and have 8g of protein!

I keep mine frozen because they go bad if you don’t eat them in like a week. Also, they are located in a freezer at Whole Foods (aka Whole Paycheck) so I figure I better do what they do and freeze them.

I had another delicious Tango Apple with some Justin’s Almond Butter . And yes, Frenchy I thought of you when I ate it! My friend Sarah is from CO and apparently that’s where Justin is from!

And the grand finale! Everything together now…

So the protein I got from the English muffin + the almond butter will provide for a great recovery from my workout this morning. It’s really important to refuel, especially with protein, after a hard workout.

Off to class….awesome.

I actually want to try that Almond Butter, but it honestly looks like something less savory 😉
